Report: Reds 5-0 Taffs Well

The Reds cruised to victory against Taffs Well at Stebonheath Park. Goals from Bradley Gibbings, Scott Tancock, a stunning free kick from Henry Jones and a brace from Danny Williams saw us take all three points under the Friday night lights.
The Reds found themselves in front just before the 20 minute mark. A fantastic ball from Joe Lloyd found Bradley Gibbings who ran from inside his own half before composing himself before finishing past Shaun Gardiner.
Henry Jones almost made it two for the Reds on the half hour mark, his shot on goal cleared off the line by an opposition defender. Another chance for the Reds came just before the break, Jones finding Alex Giardelli in behind - his cross almost setting up Gibbings for his second.
The first chance of the second half came from the visitors. Cameron Gauci found space to break along the wing, his cross almost finding Jack Simpson in the 6 yard box.
Jones made it two for the Reds, six minutes into the second half. Jones stepped up from range and curled his free kick past Gardiner in fine fashion.
The Reds created a fantastic chance on the break, Jones finding a pass to Danny Williams who was able to play in Gibbings - his shot being blocked spectacularly by the opposition.
Scott Coughlan was called into action and made a great save to deny the visitors from getting a goal back.
Danny Williams made it three for the Reds, a fantastic cross into the box from Jones’ free kick finding Danny in the area who was able to head home with ease.
The Reds then took advantage of a horrible error from the visitors, Danny was able to pick up the ball and fire past the keeper with a fine finish.
Scott Tancock capped off a five star performance for the Reds, his header flying past the keeper in stoppage time to make it five for the Reds.
