The Reds continued their great run of form with another 3 points at Stebonheath Park against Llantwit Major on Friday night. Goals from Theo Wharton and Danny Williams secured another win for the Reds in a tough and tight league battle.

The first big chance of the game for the Reds fell shortly after quarter of an hour. Danny Williams was played in behind but his shot was narrowly wide of the target.

The Reds took the lead after 26 minutes. A great ball into the 18 yard box from a corner finding the head of Wharton.

The midfielder was able to connect to the ball with power, his header easing into the net past Jack Lansdown.

Sean Cronin produced a spectacular tackle to deny Llantwit an almost certain chance on goal following a fine through ball over the top of the Reds backline.

The Reds continued to defend well and hold their goal lead heading into the break.

Llantwit came close just minutes into the second half. A great strike from the edge of the box striking the post and then the follow up being cleared off the line by Cronin.

James Lester almost made an instant impact after being brought onto the pitch. His header just wide of the post following a great corner played into the 6 yard box.

Coughlan produced an incredible stop to deny the visitors an equaliser from very close range, 70 minutes into the game. Llantwit continued to put pressure on the Reds with 20 minutes to play.

Danny Williams sealed the win for the Reds in the 90th minute. A great team move saw the ball crossed into Williams across the floor, giving him a simple finish past Lansdown.
