Additional Players Retained By Reds For 24/25

Llanelli Town AFC are delighted to announce that Scott Coughlan, Sean Cronin, Joe Hopkins and Matthew Delaney have all been retained ahead of the 24/25 season.

Scott Coughlan made his debut for the Reds in 2017. The goalkeeper has had a number of spells at the club and is set to add to his 118 appearances in the 24/25 season. 

Sean Cronin has already made 73 appearances for the Reds since arriving with current manager Lee John in 2022. The experienced centre back has been instrumental to the side and found himself on the scoresheet 15 times in the previous campaign. 

Joe Hopkins also arrived with the current management. Our first team captain scored a number of key goals as he hit double figures in 33 appearances for the Reds last season. 

Matthew Delaney arrived in the January transfer window and has so far made 10 appearances for the Reds. Despite seeing game time limited through injury, Delaney impressed when featuring in the second half of the campaign. 

We look forward to seeing all of these players in action at Stebonheath Park again next season.
