The Reds return to action for the 2025/26 season this Saturday, 2nd August as we make the trip to Ynyshir to take on ‘The Buns’ in the Nathaniel MG Cup.

This following guide will assist supporters that are looking to make the trip for the game on Saturday including directions to the ground as well as on site facilities, parking and entry costs. 

Tickets & Ground Entry

There are no tickets available online and pre-purchasing tickets is not an option for this fixture. 

Supporters will be able to pay on the gate on the day of the game with the prices for adults and U16s as follows;

Adults – £5

U16s – FREE

Travelling to the Ynyshir Oval

If you’re travelling by car, the journey takes around 1 hour 39 minutes if leaving from Llanelli. 

For full directions to the ground via Google Maps or Sat Nav, the address for Ynyshir Albions is as follows;

39 Church Terrace, Porth CF39 0EF

If you’re making the journey via train, the closest station to the ground is PORTH. Porth station is then a 24 minute walk from the ground. 

Parking 

There is no on site parking at the Ynyshir Oval and parking is difficult in the surrounding streets. After liaising with Ynyshir, they suggest using the nearby industrial estate and taking a 3 minute walk to the ground, as shown below.

As you approach Ynyshir along the bypass from Porth. Take a right off at Abbey Glass. Turn left and there should be more space to park along there. 

Walk up past the school and a path brings you over to the ground. 2-3 minute walk 

Facilities at the Ynyshir Oval

There is no clubhouse on site, however the club does have a small shop at the ground providing you with a range of snacks and refreshments including both hot and cold food and drinks. 

A reminder that kick off is at 2pm, please allow plenty of time for your travel to ensure you don’t miss a minute of the action.
