The Reds welcome Flint Town United to Stebonheath Park this Saturday in the early kick off at 12:30pm.
If you’re heading to Stebo this weekend please check out our matchday guide as shown below for your essential information.
This will be our first league meeting with Flint since the 1995/96 season – as we face off against the Silkmen in the top flight for the first time in 30 years.
Our Opponents – Flint Town United
This Saturday’s visitors come into the fixture off the back of their first league victory of the season, a 4-2 win over Cardiff Met FC at the Essity Stadium.
The Silkmen currently sit on four points in the league table, following that win and an opening-day draw against Bala Town.
Last season, Flint secured a 3rd-place finish in the play-off conference, ending level on points with Connah’s Quay Nomads.
Manager Lee Fowler alluded to the achievement of staying in the top flight as one of his greatest in football despite being promoted 7 times.

So far this campaign, they’ve proven to be a threat in front of goal, scoring nine times across their opening fixtures, a solid average of 2.25 goals per game.
Player to Watch
Once again this week we will have a printed matchday programme for you to enjoy which will feature a section dedicated to a number of players to watch.
However, our standout player to watch from the Silkmen is Isaac Lee. The 22 year old has been a standout player for Flint especially during the last campaign.
Operating at centre half, Isaac joined Flint permanently in January 2025 signing an 18 month contract. Standing at 6ft5 the former Stoke City defender was subject to quite substantial transfer interest over the summer.

A number of clubs across the EFL and even MLS side Toronto FC reportedly all met his release clause but the 22 year old has stayed put at the Silkmen for now and will continue to be a key part of their squad.
