Our fourth signing of the summer transfer window has arrived as Rio Booth joins the Reds from Carmarthen Town.

Rio arrives at Stebonheath Park from Carmarthen having featured 32 times in all competitions for the ‘Old Gold’ last season, scoring on four occasions during the campaign.

The 20 year old adds more attacking threat to the side ahead of our return to the JD Cymru Premier and was a player that impressed many in the Cymru South during the previous campaign.

Rio becomes the latest player to join the Reds ahead of our pre-season preparations which get underway tomorrow against Cymru South side Pontypridd United at the USW Sport Park.

Speaking about the arrival of Rio, manager Lee John told club media; “Rio is a talented young player who has all the physical attributes to be a top Cymru Premier player for years to come. I’m delighted he’s chosen Llanelli Town for the next step in his football career.”
